Arbeitskreis Stadtverträgliche Umweltbelastungen
Since 27th June 2007 M.O.S.S. is a member of the working team 1.7.2 "Stadtverträgliche Umweltbelastungen" (urban compatible environmental burden) of the Forschungsgesellschaft für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen (Road and Traffic Research Institute). The working team's current focus is on developing "Hinweise zur EG-Umweltgesetzgebung in der Verkehrsplanungspraxis, Teil 2: Lärmminderungsplanung und Lärmaktionsplan" (advice on traffic planning with respect to the EC environmental laws, part 2: noise reduction planning and noise action plan). Other members of the working team are large and medium-sized local authorities, engineering companies, national environmental agencies as well as the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs. |

lärmPARTNER (noise partner) is a cooperation of independent engineering offices focussing on acustics, road-, traffic- and environmental planning as well as software companies. The cooperation's objective is to interdisciplinary support small conurbanations regarding noise reduction planning with a strong focus on team competence and on-site presence. M.O.S.S. has been an active member of the cooperation from the very beginning on. |

Since August 2011 M.O.S.S. is a member of Anwenderverband für integrierte Rauminformationen und Technologien (AIR) e.V. (user association for integrated area information and technology).
The association deals with topics on geoinformation, navigation, mapping, satellite positioning and remote sensing and advocates active communication between these topics and the related European initiatives INSPIRE, GALILEO and GMES. As a combination of geoinformation and remote sensing is discussed more and more, especially in the user's community, we decided to actively participate in the dialog of these two groups. Our main motivation at this is to make developing advantages accessible to our customers. |
