Water Rights Enforcement and Monitoring

  In March 2010 the new Federal Water Act entered into force. The intended purpose is the sustainable water resources management as an ingredient for the natural environment. Water has to be seen as a useable manor to be conserved for all mankind, flora and fauna.

Some further functions of the Federal Water Act are the Water Rights Enforcement and Monitoring having consequential challenges and competency for environmental agencies.

envVision Service WATER is an application containing these main focuses:
  • Enforcement, monitoring, in particular waste water pipes and captaincy of water registers
  • Link-up of a geographic information system
  • Easy-to-use GUI, to be customised individually
  • Using internet technology and standardised interfaces, e.g. SOAP and OGC
  • Capable of being effectively integrated into respective eGovernments
  • Requirement coverage of the Water Framework Directive and INSPIRE

envVision Service WATER by M.O.S.S. is an easy-to-use web application. User can opt for process-oriented enforcement and monitoring procedures or object-oriented enforcement and objects to be monitored.

Processing, utilisation and converting of data concerning the Water Right Enforcement is totally enabled via data masks or graphical user interface. Consistency, reusability and non-multiple acquisition of data is assured by coordinated working processes in accordance of the envVision data model.

This sophisticated and technologically challenged solution is based on envVision and xima® forms. Data management, data processing and service-oriented data availability is assumed by envVision. Custom-built for object-oriented data handling and merged to a perfectly matched unit for technical and graphical data, envVision stands for an exchange platform.

xima® forms is accountable for adapted user navigation via web. The main focus of xima media GmbH lies in the application for comprehensive data capturing via internet. Particularly with regard to INSPIRE and SEIS envVision and xima® forms offer synergistic effects and turnaround scopes by acting environmental data.
