novaFACTORY LIDAR Module
Designed for integrating and handling 3D point clouds

Developed to support users working with light detection and ranging (LIDAR) datasets, the novaFACTORY LIDAR is the module designed for integration and handling 3D point clouds in LAS format.

The LAS file format is a public file format for the interchange of LIDAR data between vendors and customers. It is a binary file format that maintains information specific to the LIDAR nature of the data while not being overly complex.

To provide users with as much flexibility as possible they can access and export subsets of any LIDAR data set in the archive, e.g. first pulse or last pulse. Moreover, selected classes such as vegetation or bare soil can be exported separately.

It also allows for the dynamic creation of both TIN and GRID terrain data from the raw LIDAR data.

novaFACTORY LIDAR Module is based on ArcGIS Server and is open to the world of ESRI GIS.
