novaFACTORY Raster Module
Designed for the handling of raster formats

The novaFACTORY Raster Module is our solution for building raster geodata archives. From single bit topographic map layers to 8-bit layers or 24-bit true colour orthophotos, all your data is seamlessly stored and easily accessible from each workstation for flexible collaboration.

novaFACTORY Raster Module will benefit all departments within your organization: The production department gets an easy-to-use interface for creating geodata from your existing data holding. The sales department gets a powerful tool for efficiently serving data products to clients with diverse needs. Your clients get easy access to a wide range of data types.

All major raster formats (TIFF, PDF, JPEG, BMP, etc.) and various data compression technologies are supported. Output resolution and reference system can be set prior to data delivery.

novaFACTORY Raster Module supports the export of single layer or band/colour combinations. Various data layers can be combined into a single data product, e.g. a digital aerial image map that combines an orthophoto with selected layers from a digital topographic map.

In addition to bitmap raster data novaFACTORY Raster can also handle ASCII GRID data, e.g. for managing digital elevation models.

Additional plug-ins and modules expand novaFACTORY Raster’s functionality:
The JP2 plug-in supports the data export to JPG2000 and ECW format. The 4K Module allows for the flexible handling of 4 colour channel (RGB and NIR) aerial photographs. Both modules can be used in combination, for example for saving colour infrared images to JPEG2000 format.

For the flexible distribution of digital terrain models, the @SCOP Module offers additional output options, e.g. shaded reliefs or contour lines.

novaFACTORY Raster Module is based on ArcGIS® Server and is open to the world of ESRI GIS.
